Wales topped the World Rugby rankings following their 13 – 6 win over rivals England on Saturday. Wales missed out on topping the world rankings last week when they lost to England at Twickenham.

“I think we probably got a bit caught up in all that last week. We want to keep going about our business, we are looking to get better but its nice to be where we are.” – said Dan Biggar


Wales have never been number the one team in World Rugby, in the past 18 months they’ve gone on an unbeaten run of 14 and O, this is subsequent to the formidable squad Warren Gatland has built over the years.

New Zealand have held the number one spot since 16 November 2009. World Rugby rankings began in 2003.
