Important Content Contributions Guidelines
Thank you for taking an interest in submitting an article for the Grit Sports News. Please refer to the following content contributions guidelines before preparing your submission:
No minimums but posts typically run between 300 to 600 words. Please stay under 600 words.
Inclusive, passionate, and generally authentic. Please see what we have posted before so that you can have an idea of what we are expecting.
We ask that posts submitted be unique and original to the Grit Sports News. If we believe you have already published or submitted a post elsewhere online, or if you plan to distribute it elsewhere, we will not accept it.
Grit Sports is not interested in SEO-driven submissions
If you work for a content farm or are a freelancer who writes articles for the sole purpose of linking up keywords in an effort to boost SEO, we are not interested.
Grit Sports is not interested in submissions written for the primary purpose of product promotion
Business Psychology articles should be written in the spirit of exchanging knowledge and advancing the field. Submissions based on product or service marketing will not be accepted.
Promotion of your article
While we don’t pay contributors for posts, we’d be more than happy to include a brief bio containing links to your website, Facebook, and Twitter accounts, which we’ll promote when you publish your article. Please keep your bio to just 3-4 sentences.
Posts should be sent as attachments via email
This means sending a covering email with your submission attached as a Word document. Include your profile picture and any accompanying graphics as attachments rather than embedding them in the Word document.
If we publish your submission, please invite your friends and colleagues to read it
The more people who view your post, the better is it for you and the better it is for the Grit Sports News, so share your article via email, your website, whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter, and any other social media. In turn, our content creators and influencers will also promote your post via these digital platforms.
We enjoy connecting with new contributors
The Grit Sports News Team is completely staffed by volunteers and interns, who may have full time jobs and may occasionally like to take a weekend off, or even go on holiday. You may not receive an immediate response to your submission, but you can rest assured we will acknowledge your submission and review each article carefully. Successful submissions will be contacted and advised when they will be published. Unsuccessful submissions will receive feedback as to why their article has not been accepted.
By submitting an article to the Grit Sports News you acknowledge that you accept that editing might occur, you also acknowledge that trade agreement is only in the form of exposure and no payments will be made for published articles.
To meet word count limits, as well as for the sake of readability, page layout requirements, etc the Website Editor may carry out reasonable alterations to your submission prior to publication.
