According to the U.S Anti Doping Agency’s database which was last updated on July 20, Serena Williams has been tested at least five times in 2018.

Last week’s “random” test was miss Williams’ sixth test so far this year. No other American female athlete has ever been tested more than twice a year which shows inconsistency in the USADA system.

Williams posted on her twitter page:

……and it’s that time of the day to get “randomly” drug tested and ONLY test Serena. Out of all the players it’s been proven I’m the one getting tested the most. Discrimination? I think so. At least I’ll be keeping the sport clean.

The test follows Williams progress through to the finals of the 2018 Wimbledon Grand Slam.
