Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus has spoken highly of the etremely criticized Allister Coetzee on Monday.
South Africa beat England on Saturday to clinch the three match Test series 2 – 0 with a game to spare.
Erasmus eulogized on the processes put in place by Coetzee and his coaching staff to align Super Rugby and PRO14 coaches on how to improve skills and training in South African Rugby.
“Allister started with that Indaba last year and got the Super Rugby coaches together and chatted about some core fundamentals they wanted to get right,” Erasmus said.
Springbok coach continued by stating
“I have got no doubt that the players are better equipped to attack. All the franchises, including the teams that are playing in PRO14, the Cheetahs and Kings, they really try to attack.
“Without a doubt the skill level on attack is better and we are fortunate that Allister started that last year.”
England coach also had a few words to say to the Media in the post match press conference in Bloemfontein on Saturday.
“I know when Allister was coaching, everyone was giving him stick but he was developing good players and they are now producing” said Eddie Jones.
