A verbal altercation broke out yesterday during Tea in the South Africa versus Australia Test Match on Sunday.

The altercation involved Australian opening batsman David Warner and South African wicket-keeper batsman Quinton de Kock. In CCTV footage doing its rounds on social media, Warner is seen being restrained by his teamates as he kept charging at de Kock who seemed not to bother himself by the useless rant from the Australian.

Mike Haysman chatting to Kepler Wessels on Day 5, this is what Kepler had to say

“Theres always been sledging, theres always been hard men in cricket, that should never go away but all this personal stuff thats happening is quite pathetic and weak really. That off the field stuff was is unnecessary, David Warner is not the most scariest person i’ve ever seen in my life.

All this off the field stuff detracts from the game, it detracted from a good day of cricket we had yesterday. Theres nothing wrong with looking at you in the eye and taking you on, on the field. Umpires need to put their foot down early and stop that from escalating.”
