An early goal by Bernard Parker fired Kaizer Chiefs to a 1-0 win over Orlando Pirates in the Carling Black Label Champion Cup at the FNB Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The competition is in its seventh year, Kaizer Chiefs have won three and Orlando Pirates have won four.
3. Crusaders and Lions in Super Rugby Final
Crusaders beat the Chiefs on Saturday morning in Christchurch 27 – 13, while the Golden Lions had to dig deep in the second half to beat the Hurricanes 44 – 29 at Emirates Airline Park, on Saturday afternoon.
Lions will host the Crusaders for the 2018 Super Rugby Final.
