Round 14 is the last weekend where all participating teams play in one weeknd.
Understand?
Neither do i..
South African franchises wont be in action after this weekend, leaving only NZ and Aus teams playing in the next two weeks.
With all the International Rugby taking place in the next month, franchises will take a well deserved break.
This weekend we kick-off Round 14 with New Zealand Derby on Friday morning (CAT) 09:35am.
Blues vs Chiefs
Both sides come from a horrible showing in Round 13, Blues losing controversially to a Stormers outfit and Chiefs losing to an unbeaten Crusaders. Last time the two sides met, Blues played with 14 men for 60minutes of the game (Steven Luatua red card) they lost that game. Blues are travelling from South Africa, which could count against them in the last 15 to 20 minutes of the game.

Reds vs Force – 11:45 CAT
Sigh! Another Aussie Derby
Ill go with home ground advantage on this one and pick the Reds.

SATURDAY:
Sunwolves vs Cheetahs – 07:15 CAT
Cheetahs stumbled their way past the Sunwolves on home soil, in Bloemfontein earlier in the season. The Sunwolves have given SA teams a run for their money in the past weeks. Tough call to make here, ill go with Sunwolves

Highlanders vs Waratahs – 09:35 CAT
Highlanders will be happy to be back home, after a grueling tour of South Africa and Australia, winning 3 from 3. Waratahs on the other hand, showed last week why they cant be taken for granted. One can only hope, that they can repeat last weeks performance. Doubt they will bother the Landers at home

Rebels vs Crusaders – 11:45 CAT
Melbourne Rebels host the only unbeaten team, in the competition. After beating the Brumbies last month, Rebels have not shown why they should be kept in Super Rugby. But hey…..Stranger things have happened
Crusaders will be looking to keep the number 1 spot on the log.

Bulls vs Hurricanes – 15:05 CAT
The Pretoria based side are going through a rollercoaster ride currently, a coach waiting to be sacked any moment now…….5………4………3…….2……….1…….
Oh it hasnt happened yet? Ok..
Hurricanes are back to winning ways after beating a below average Cheetahs side.

SHARKS VS STORMERS – 17:15 CAT
The Sharks host the Cape Town side at the Shark Tank on Saturday. One thing we can say about SA Derbies this year, is that, they have produced the goods on all fronts.
Stormers will be confident going into this game after getting their second win against a New Zealand outfit.
Sharks don’t look as good as they were when Curwin Bosch was still around. Im sure they will put up a fight on home turf.
It will be interesting to see if the Sharks can get under Eben Etzerbeth’s skin, get him worked up, earn a few penalties.
Tough one to call: ill go with Stormers by 4
Jaguares vs Brumbies – 23:40 CAT
SUNDAY:
LIONS VS KINGS – 14:30 CAT
I see a high scoring game, running rugby.
Both teams arent afraid to throw the ball around and back their individual skills. Lions have the experience but the Kings have the heart.
Lions will be fighting hard for that home semi-final and Final.
Kings want to prove that they belong
Im keen to watch Elton Jantjies vs Lionel Cronje
Chris Cloete vs Kwagga Smith
