Round 12 had a few upsets, Sharks losing to the Kings and the Force beating the Jaguares in Argentina.

These are the Grit Sports editors Super Rugby picks and in Round 13 I have couple of questions: Will the Chiefs upset the Crusaders?

When will Highlanders luck run out?

Can the Stormers turn things around, against the Blues?

This is a tougher week to predict but i like the fact that games will be more competitive.

First game starts tomorrow

Chiefs vs Crusaders – 09:35 CAT

Crusaders skipper returns for the game against the Chiefs on Friday night. Chiefs haven’t lost against NZ sides so far this season. The 7 time Champions, the Crusaders will be looking to make it 12 out of 12 in Super Rugby 2017. The wont be any home advantage for both sides as the game will be played in Fiji. Tough to call, but i will go with Crusaders momentum on this one.

Stormers vs Blues – 19:00 CAT (Friday)

The Cape Town side is back at home this weekend. Running thin on First 5s (Fly-Halves) the Stormers depth will be tested. With home advantage, i dont see the Blues troubling the Stormers

Hurricanes vs Cheetahs – 09:35 CAT

Cheetahs are in for a long day at the office here.

Force vs Highlanders – 11:45 CAT

Western Force are hard to predict, after their win in Argentina, its quite difficult to say which team will rock up against the Highlanders on Saturday. Highlanders on the other hand have been lucky on two occassions in South Africa. Will their luck continue in Western Australia?

Sunwolves vs Sharks – 13:55 CAT

Sharks are travelling again. After last weekends poor form, i dont see them losing to the Sunwolves.

Lions vs Bulls – 17:15 CAT

The only South African Derby this weekend. Bulls only just lost to the Highlanders last week, of course the weather played a huge role in the score margin. Lions had a bye last week, they will be fresh and ready to stamp their authority in the Africa Conferences.

Kings vs Brumbies  – 19:10 CAT

Brumbies are desperate for a win

Kings have won three on the trot, i believe Saturday will be 4 in a row.

Waratahs vs Rebels  – 08:05 CAT

Waratahs in a must win situation. Gibson has struggled to get the New South Wales side going this season. I wont say, Waratahs at home will be too much for the Rebels, because the Kings humiliated them a couple of weeks ago. Rebels have been mediocre for lack of a better word.
