Friday will see two South African sides take on Australasian opposition. Cheetahs have left Africa to play Auckland Blues in Eden Park. With the Cheetahs struggling to win on home soil, things could be worse on tour.

Game of the weekend: Crusaders vs Hurricanes

Two top sides going head to head in an All NZ Derby. Pride, bragging rights and most importantly the side that wins this game, has a very good chance of winning the NZ Conference and host a home semi-final.

Crusaders are coming back from Africa tour, but is see them scraping through this one by a point or two.

Australian Derbies are difficult to call, Rebels were quite disappointing in the  last 2 weeks of Super Rugby, losing to the Kings and Lions by 40. Reds on the other hand, werent as bad against the Chiefs.

During preseason games – Bulls met the Highlanders at the Brisbane 10s Tournament, where Bulls came out victors beating the Landers by 26 – 17.

THAT ALL COUNTS FOR NOTHING

Bulls have been really disappointing this season, last weekends results was a final nail in the coffin. Losing by 60 points in your home ground is not something you’d expect from a Bulls side with a few Bok players.

Highlanders will take some positives from last weekends comeback with 5 minutes to play.

KINGS VS SHARKS – 17:15 CAT

The last time these two sides met, Kings lost by one point. Last weekend the Sharks took the Western Force to the cleaners, whilst the Eastern Cape side, the Kings had a bye after their historic 44 – 3 victory over the Rebels.

Both sides will be high on confidence but the Kings will want to prove a point.

Tight one to call – but the Sharks should have enough fire power to earn them 4 points
