In an article by CBS Sport earlier today, ” Ronda Rousey is set to make her return to the octagon in December against current women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes at UFC 207, president Dana White announced on Wednesday”
Rousey has not fought since losing via TKO to Holly Holm in November 2015. The former champ was scheduled to take some time off while shooting movies and commercials, but her expected return was delayed even more when she underwent a knee operation in June.
Rousey currently holds a 12-1 record in MMA and successfully defended her women’s bantamweight crown six times before falling to Holm. Nunes, meanwhile, is 13-4 in her career and riding a four-fight winning streak, including the submission over Miesha Tate at UFC 200 to claim the belt.
