Goal understands that the one-time Bafana Bafana international is a wanted a man in the Mother City during the current Transfer Window

Out-of-favour Orlando Pirates midfielder Sifiso Myeni has emerged as a transfer target for Ajax Cape Town, Cape Town City FC as well as Bidvest Wits.
The skillful winger quickly fell out of favour following the arrival of Muhsin Ertugral at Pirates early last month and he was soon transfer-listed.
City FC, who are coached by last season’s Bucs head trainer Eric Tinkler, were the first club to be linked with Myeni.
However, Goal has since learnt from an impeccable source that his former sides Ajax and Wits are also keen to acquire his services from Bucs.
“Several clubs have expressed interest in Myeni and Pirates are assessing offers for the player. Ajax, City and Wits are all in the race at the moment, but only the best offer will see him leave Pirates as planned,” the source told Goal.
The 28-year-old winger was once part of the Ajax academy. The Urban Warriors are guided by another former Bucs head coach in Roger De Sa who nurtured Myeni at Wits.
Gavin Hunt, the Wits head coach, is believed to have identified Myeni as a possible replacement for Sibusiso Vilakazi who joined Mamelodi Sundowns a fortnight ago.
