Fifa president Sepp Blatter was to face criminal charges according to Skysports with the Swiss attorney generals office making the announcement. Blatter is being questioned over the mismanagement of Fifa, and the South African World Cup 2010 is sure to come into the spotlight again.

The world now awaits the announcements over whether Sep will resign and over who will replace him at the helm. Also implicated in the scandal is EUFA President Michel Platini over 2 million Euros he had received Blatter, which is largely thought to have put to bed his bid of becoming Blatters replacement.
