Tottenham Hotspurs have today completed the signing of South Korean forward Son Heung-min on a deal reportedly worth £22m.

Spurs had started the season with one  striker Harry Kane. That was compounded by a severe drop in form in from Kane which has seen Spurs sitting at 15th place on the EPL table with a negative goal difference having lost drawn twice and lost once.Son will have been a welcome addition to the squad and the Spurs faithful will be hoping the spending continues in the same vain.

Son, 23 had scored 23 goals in 87 appearances for Leverkusen before being lured by Spurs and has also scored 11 for South Korea in 44 appearances.

Son excitement at signing for Spurs was evident when he said “I’m looking forward to going there and performing for the Spurs fans as soon as possible,”
