Pirates have agreed terms with Egyptian club giant Zamalek for the sale of Kermit Erasmus according to Kickoff.
Erasmus, 25 was the ABSA Premiere Leagues top scorer last season putting away 16 goals in all appearances.
The unconfirmed transfer fee is believed to be in the range of R20 million. The Pirates fans will be hoping for swift action from the club in replacing the striker.
Pirates will be hoping to improve on their fourth place finish from 2014/15 season finishing the season having scored 46 goals which was more than any other team in the league. The last time they won the league was in the 2012/13 season.
