After months of speculation Manchester United FC have finally agreed terms with Southampton FC over the signing of Morgan Scheiderlin for an undisclosed fee according to Skysports.

Schneiderlin is a French international is from the town of Obernai in France. He represented Southampton on 223 occassions in all competions. Though not being re-known for his goals scoring prowess having scored just 15 times in all competitions he should make for a good fit to Van Gaals football philosophy of total football.


Schneiderlin, 25 becomes Luis Van Gaals fourth signing of the summer after having completed a medical this passed Sunday in whats been a busy couple of days for Ed Woodward, who is the man responsible for finalising the deals and the clubs Executive Vice-Chairman.

Van Gaal however still needs to strengthen upfront with the departures of Falcao and Van Persie. The one thing United fans and supporters can be assured of is that no player is out of Uniteds reach.
