South African Football Association has found the Urban Warriors guilty for fielding an ineligible player, Tendai Ndoro, in the 2017/18 PSL season.
Ajax Cape Town forfeited points as a result of the Ndoro saga. The points were deducted for their matches against Platinum Stars, Polokwane City and Supersport United. All three points were awarded 3 – 0 victories and the Cape Town side were also fined R50 000 for each offence.
This outcome sees Ajax Cape Town relegated from the Premier Soccer League and Platinum Stars live to fight another day in the promotion/relagation play-offs.
Supersport United now find themselves in the top 8, as they move to 7th on the log, Golden Arrows drop to 8th place and Amazulu FC fall out of the top eight.
