America clinch Presidents Cup 

This weekend, the prestigious Presidents Cup took place in Jersey City in New Jersey, USA. A strong United States team filled with stars overpowered the International team, beating them 19 – 11. This was the seventh straight Presidents Cup home victory for team USA.

Formula One 

Max Verstappen secured his second Formula One win on Sunday at the Malaysian Grand Prix. Lewis Hamilton came second and Daniel Rcciardo finishing in third spot keeping Sebastian Vettel off the podium in fourth.

Football

Supersport United squandered too many chances in their CAF Confederations Cup semi-final first leg. They drew 1 -1 against Tunisian outfit Club Africain on Saturday, in Attridgeville. The second leg will take place on October 20th

India have moved to number one on the ICC One Day International rankings after beating Australia by 7 wickets in the 5th ODI and cliched a 4 – 1 series win.

Rugby Championship – South Africa and Australia played to a 27-ALL-DRAW in Bloemfontein on Saturday. New Zealand maintained their unbeaten run in the Championship and clinched their fifth Rugby Championship tittle six years after beating Argentina 36 – 10 in Buenos Aires.
