Pakistan’s ICC campaign is back on track, after they beat South Africa in a Group B match at Edgbaston on Wednesday evening.

South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first. A much improved Pakistan bowling attack was up for the task, restricting the Proteas to 219/8 after 50 overs. Their batsmen managed to reach 119/3 before the heavens opened up and rain interfered with play.

Pakistan won under the Duckworth-Lewis and Stern system, winning by 19 runs.
