Former Chelsea club doctor is no nearer to settling constructive dismissal claim against Premier League champions

Eva Carneiro is demanding a “public apology” from Jose Mourinho as part of her constructive dismissal and sex discrimination claim against Chelsea and their sacked manager.

Carneiro’s barrister also revealed the club and their former first-team doctor were nowhere near agreeing compensation over her dramatic departure ahead of a hearing on Monday at an employment tribunal.

Mary O’Rourke, representing Carneiro, told ITV News: “We’re not expecting a resolution today. The two sides are so far apart financially. And we want Mr Mourinho to make a public apology.”
