Downs have always been a team known to boast one of the strongest squads in the PSL, with Mosimane being a firm believer in having strong competition within the camp.

“Many people talk about big squads and many players but that’s what is helping us a lot in our games,” Mosimane told Goal.

“We have good players who compete against each other, that’s what gives us the results. It’s good for the team.”

He adds that there is no time to relax and that he hopes his team keeps up with the pace until the end of the season.

“The players know that there is no time to relax and that competition is healthy for the team.

“We have to do what we are doing until the end of the season,” Mosimane added.
