The Australia coach Michael Cheika has said that Japan’s shock victory over South Africa should serve as a warning to all the leading nations, as he attempts to steer his Wallabies side clear of their own giant-killing.
Australia play Fiji on Wednesday at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, and Cheika believed that the struggles of some of the tournament favourites thus far – England, New Zealand and South Africa among them – was a reminder to his own side not to look beyond the next game
