It was a tightly contested affair at Suncorp in Brisbane as the Springboks, ranked 2nd by the International Rugby Board (IRB), went down to a last minute try by the Wallabies, ranked 6th in the rankings.

The South African Rugby technical team which is headed by former Blue Bulls coach Heyneke Meyer, find themselves with more questions than they do answers after the defeat. This after the Bokke seemed to be on course for what some would have considered a well calculated victory over the Wallabies.
